　　成都美视国际学校学术总监

　　Joel C. Redding 教授在美国获得了教育学学士学位和MBA，并且参与了高等教育领导学博士学位研究。他最近被聘任为成都美视国际学校国际部学术总监。

　　Joel C. Redding教授同时担任四川大学继续教育中心学术总监，并曾担任四川大学出国预备学院中澳联合办学项目和中英研究生联合办学项目学术总监。

　　Joel C. Redding教授在学术领域和商务领域都具有丰富的经验。在过去超过20年的时间里，他曾在日本、台湾、马来西亚和中国讲学,也曾为以下国际知名企业和组织作咨询工作，包括世界银行、大英百科全书公司、索尼、富士、三菱、 三井、中国航空、三星，以及数十家东南亚中小型企业。

　　Joel C. Redding教授对于系统分析、批判性和创新思维研究、教育研究规划、指导方法学和ESL&ESP学术课程设计与发展都有浓厚兴趣。同时，他定期阅读教育心理学、宏观(全球)经济学合作研究项目以及高等教育领导学研究等方面的专业杂志来不断地充实和提高自己。

　　Joel C. Redding教授热衷于环境保护和社会公益事业。他是世界野生动物保护基金会纽约分会和美国商会成都分会的成员并与成都欧盟商会和英国商会保持着紧密的往来。

　　他的个人兴趣爱好是弹钢琴、听古典交响乐和合唱音乐、打网球、散步和与学生进行苏格拉底式的互动交流。

　　Professor Redding obtained his B.S. Degree in Education, his M.B.A and engaged in Ph.D. research in Higher Education Leadership all in the U.S.A. He has recently been appointed Superintendent of the Meishi International Division of the Chengdu Meishi International School.

　　Professor Redding is concurrently Academic Director of the Continuing Education Center of Sichuan University and was Academic Supervisor for the Sino-Australia and the Sino-Scotland Graduate Programs at the College of International Studies, at Sichuan University.

　　Professor Redding has extensive experience in both the academic and corporate worlds. He has lectured in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia , China and has advised such notable clients as The World Bank Group, Britannica, Sony, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, China Airlines, Samsung and scores of medium and small companies in the ASEAN region for over twenty years.

　　Professor Redding takes a special interest in systems analysis; critical & Creative thinking research; research design in education; instructional methodologies and ESL/ESP academic curricula design and development. He regularly reads professional journals in educational psychology, collaborative research projects in macro (global) economics and Higher Education Leadership studies.

　　He is also an avid supporter of environmental issues, socially constructive activities, a member of the World Wildlife Fund (New York, N.Y.), the American Chamber of Commerce (Chengdu) and affiliated with the European Union Chamber of Commerce (Chengdu) & British Commerce.

His personal hobbies are playing the piano, classical symphonic and choral music, tennis, taking nature walks and engaging students in Socratic-style discourse.
